To complete your registration, please ensure you have high-resolution photos of your build ready. We require front, rear, and interior shots, plus any specific detail work or audio setups you want the judges to see before the showdown. All builds are subject to pre-approval by our elite selection committee.
THE RULES
Liability & Conduct
By registering, all participants agree to release Southern Sound Showdown, RMJ Promotions, and the Rocky Mount Event Center from any liability for theft, damage, or personal injury occurring during the event. Strictly no burnouts, no reckless driving, and no outside alcohol within the venue. Vehicles must remain in their designated areas until the official move-out time. Failure to comply with event staff instructions will result in immediate disqualification and removal from the premises without a refund.
Participation Details
All registrations are non-refundable but may be transferable with approval.

All load-ins begin at 11am Friday September 18th and must be completed by 6pm

Load-outs begin at 8PM Saturday September 19th (Load out on Sunday 8am-12pm also available)
- Vehicles must arrive with less than a 1/4 tank of fuel for indoor display.
- Battery disconnect procedures must be followed for all overnight displays.
- Display materials must be fire-retardant and neat within the assigned footprint.
- Audio builds must adhere to sound limit schedules—no full-volume playback during awards ceremony.
- Vehicles are judged based on cleanliness, creativity, execution, etc.
Submission of this registration form constitutes a legal agreement to follow all Southern Sound Showdown event protocols and safety regulations.
